Rabbi Chaim Finkelstein

Rabbi Chaim Finkelstein is the Rosh Yeshiva LeRabbonus Pretoria, a halacha based yeshiva which has a renowned smicha program. Rabbi Finkelstein also founded and heads the Machon Lecheker U’Pituach Halacha, a kollel and think tank for scholars around the world to deepen their halachic knowledge. South African born, Rabbi Finkelstein has ordained students of all ages with smicha since 2008, after being ordained in 2003 by Rav Zalman Nechemia Goldberg of the Jerusalem Beis Din. In the past Rav Goldberg has co-signed certificates of smicha with Rabbi Finkelstein.
